Understanding the myCAMprogram
Developed by forensic criminalist Jan Semenoff, myCAMprogram is a science-based educational resource for individuals participating in Continuous Alcohol Monitoring (CAM) programs. Unlike compliance-driven materials provided by monitoring agencies or device manufacturers, this course focuses on forensic accuracy, real-world risk prevention, and evidentiary support. Participants learn how their devices actually work, what factors can interfere with results, and how to properly document exposures, health conditions, and anomalies that might trigger false alerts.
Designed for clients navigating criminal, family, or workplace alcohol monitoring requirements, the program offers short video and text lessons, downloadable logbooks and reference materials, and a Certificate of Completion. It’s a practical tool for building credibility, protecting legal outcomes, and minimizing preventable violations. MyCAMprogram is now in beta - learn more or refer your clients by visiting MyCAMprogram.com.
What the Program Covers
The course is structured into seven chapters covering key areas:

- How to use the device properly
- Navigating challenges such as medical conditions, diets, or chemical exposures
